Executive Close Protection Officer and Driver for the Chief Executive Officer of a Fortune 200 Corporation based in Dallas, Texas
A Fortune 200 publically held corporation with headquarters in Dallas, Texas is currently recruiting a Executive Close Protection Officer and Personal Driver for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company. The Officer will ensure the daily, safe and secure transportation of the CEO, in a confidential and professional manner, as well as, the protection of his residences and immediate family and will also provide security of the company’s Executive Leadership Team for corporate, Shareholder and Board of Director’s meetings, corporate sponsored events and special security related projects.


The Officer will be part of a corporate security team and will serve at the pleasure of the CEO, but will report to the company’s Director of Security. This role will require an individual who exhibits exceptional time management skills, being punctual and reliable at all times, and excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills, exhibiting a professional and positive communications style and the ability to work well under pressure, with flexibility and adaptability to various work-paces, while maintaining a high-level of situational awareness and discretion.

The Officer will be responsible for: the daily safe and secure transportation of the CEO to and from designated destinations and maintenance of the company owned vehicle; keeping a constant dialogue with the CEO’s administrative staff to ensure prompt attention to his daily schedule; conducting ongoing threat, risk and vulnerability assessments, and providing protective advance operations (route selection, venue advance, surveillance, detection), where necessary; having domestic and international situational awareness of potential and developing risks impacting the CEO and/or the company; and optimizing the CEO’s security by maintaining close contacts with the Dallas, Texas, Federal, and Foreign Law Enforcement Agencies, as necessary.


The Officer must perform all requested tasks with professionalism, safety, confidentiality, discretion and:
· Be available for morning and evening coverage, 7 days a week, as needed, by the CEO, and  have the ability to travel, as required;
· Have the ability to communicate security-related concepts, concerns or threats to all levels of company personnel;
·Possess advanced knowledge of physical security, information security, access control systems and security-related technology;
·Have general knowledge of relevant laws and regulations that govern the protection of information security and physical assets;
·Demonstrate an ability to apply sound judgment and use discretion when dealing with sensitive and/or confidential information or situations;
·Possess excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication (both written and oral) skills and have a professional appearance;
·Have the ability to meet the established physical demands required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Required Candidate Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in protective advance work, security driving and protection and working with a corporate, military, police or security transportation group.
Previous Military, Law Enforcement, or Government Agencies experience or extensive professional private sector experience in executive protection along with certified executive protection courses and training.
Possess a valid Texas driver’s license with an excellent driving record and have a proficient knowledge of roadways, airports and major locations in the Dallas, Texas area.
Training in Emergency Medicine, CPR, defensive driving tactics and arresting techniques and tactical firearms.
Ability to obtain a concealed weapon permit.
Ability to pass a background check, drug and nicotine screen, physical endurance and agility test, psychological exam, and other assessments, as required.
