GARDAWORLD JOB SPECIFICATION: Team Leader CPP– Australian Embassy, Baghdad (Subject to successful induction/confirmation)

Hiring Criteria

Only FVEY National Candidates (AUS, NZ, USA, UK, CAN) will be considered for this role.

The CPP TL must have:
* Served as a member of a personal security detail or a close personal protection team for a minimum period of five (5) years in a high risk
* Previous military or law enforcement experience of not less than five(5) years with an excellent record of conduct. Must not have a criminal record and must not have been dishonourably discharged from service or convicted under the Defence Force Disciplinary Act (1982) (or equivalent) or terminated from employment.
* Must hold or be eligible to obtain and be in the process of obtaining relevant FVEY National Security clearance at the level of Secret. – Individuals who fail to obtain, or retain will be subject to removal.
* Relevant CPP or other qualifications obtained in military or policing roles, and or relevant CPP or other qualifications or accreditation obtained through a recognised private sector registered training
* Been trained as a minimum to HLTAID005/FREC/MIRA/FPOSi Provide First Aid in Remote Situations standard, or to a higher standard appropriate to high-threat
* Relevant national drivers licence to operate AVs.
* Excellent communication skills, with experience in multiple levels of communication between various levels of management, internal and
* Experience in developing and managing teams
* Excellent leadership skills and excellent problem solving skills.

Desirable skills also include:

* previous experience working in a diplomatic environment
* previous in-country experience in a similar capacity and a working knowledge of Arabic (Iraqi dialect)

Duties

The Team Leader CPP (CPP TL) is responsible for managing the CPP team’s movements and planning including:

* Organising reconnaissance and/or liaison

* Conducting client liaison prior to task being conducted

* Preparation and planning of all CPP operations in collaboration with

SOM, Intelligence Personnel and RSA

* Commanding and controlling of the CPP team

* Providing client and team brief prior to task and

* Conduct team training.

Start Date
Late December 2018 - subject to further confirmation & successful induction.*subject to further confirmation/successful induction/visa processing

Daily Rate
GardaWorld offers a competitive daily rate (Contractor will only be paid whilst on-duty – no payment made for Off-duty).

Rotation
8 weeks on and 4 off however candidates need to be flexible and will be driven by operational requirements.

Likely duration of task
3 years with possible extension(s)

Travel Details
Travel pay none is offered. The first day of pay is the day of your arrival in Theatre. Your last day of pay is the day of your departure from Theatre. No Domestic Transit allowance applicable

Flight Package
The Hub Airport designated by the Company. GardaWorld Consulting Middle East Limited will provide economy class flights (subject to availability) to and from the Consultant’s designated International Hub Airport for each leave rotation.

Package
GardaWorld will provide the Independent Contractor with housing, food and transportation while you are in Theatre along with insurances
