Job Summary:


The Executive Protection Driver is tasked with conducting close protection for an Executive in CA. This role will be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality support directly to the Executive, family and staff, as well as safeguarding client assets. Protectors must work independently on projects, from conception to completion, work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities, competently respond to any situation that may arise while supporting the client, and actively support the organization's mission.

Performs all aspects of protective operations for the executives; domestically and outside the United States.

Under the direction of management safeguards principals from all forms of security and safety hazards. Provides security coverage for principals, guests, and others in a professional/courteous manner while in compliance with policies and procedures. May direct daily work of contractors who are providing similar protection services. Acts as liaison with outside agencies in the event of building problems, security issues, and fire or other emergencies. Manages and completes all assigned projects. Conducts surveys of future site visits to include planning logistics around sites and events. Detailed planning includes all aspects and issues relating to physical locality, movements in, out, and around site and event, and preparation for emergencies and other contingencies. Acts as primary driver, as well as, follow car driver for principals. Prepares routes in advance, as well as alternate routes. Operates vehicle in safe manner, identify any counter threats along routes, and render aid in the event of accident or other safety hazard. Maintains vehicles in good working order, fueled, and clean. Coordinates with internal staff and department heads in support of principals* activities. May liaison with external Executive Protection Teams who visit RIMOVA campus for customer meetings. Communicates appropriately with staff and principals. Available 24/7/365 in order to respond to all emergencies.Salary: Commensurate With Experience


Requirements

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. 5 years relevant work experience. Proficient with Internet use, basic software packages, and use of various types of communication equipment. Ability to travel and work irregular hours. Ability to run or sprint. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds. Able to frequently climb or balance, and taste and smell. Able to regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands/manual dexterity, reach or stretch, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; speak or hear. Regularly exposed to various outdoor weather conditions. Work near moving mechanical parts; work in high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; work with explosives and vibrations. Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Executive Protection and/or security driving experience in the West Coast area
Valid CA DL required (with clean driving record)
Valid US Passport required
Ability to work non-traditional hours (e.g. nights, weekends, and holidays)
Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to conduct briefings that present clear, concise, logic-based conclusions to support and inform the executive decision-making process
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment and help implement new ideas to help drive the EP program forward
Ability to work nights and weekends as required
Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations
Must have the ability to fluently speak, read, and write in English
Strong IT skills with knowledge of MS Office products
Excellent attention to detail & observational skills
Strong verbal and written skills.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution preferred
Bilingual language skills
Advanced medical training (EMT-B or Paramedic)
Experience working with families and children in a high net worth environment
CWP
Experience working in the specified area of operations and familiarity with FBO'S
