RXR is currently looking for an Executive Driver.
Reporting to the Director of Security the executive driver will provide personal driving services for a senior executive/s between and within Long Island and NYC with intermittent travel within the tri-state area.
Responsibilities:
• Be readily available to provide driver escort duties based on daily schedule
• Be able to provide close-in protection when necessary
• Provide hasty, subtle and courteous escort/movement/direction through special events/pubic gatherings
• Conduct/Augment EP/Director of Security pre-advance work of upcoming meetings and travel venues when needed
Requirement :
• 2 years of experience in any of the following: executive driving, executive protection (EP) dignitary protection (DP), Highway Patrol/Intelligence Division).
• Law Enforcement experience a MUST. Either: Retired members of the service (MOS); NYPD/NCPD
• Past assignments in Highway Patrol and/or Intelligence Division (EP/DP) preferred
• Must have and been able to maintain without interruption an active NYPD, SCPD or NCPD concealed carry license
• Must hold and maintain an active New York State driver’s license without restrictions and complete defensive driving course every 3 years
• Excellent driving record
• Excellent knowledge of New York City/Nassau County and surrounding areas
• Able to routinely and expeditiously commute between Nassau County and Manhattan in a safe and consistent manner
• Must be able to adapt with little to no notice changes in schedule
• Must provide impeccable references
• Must have excellent professional deportment
• Vehicle will be provided. Working hours are fairly set but may involve night and weekend hours as dictated by the schedule
• Prior military service a plus
