Job Introduction:
Close Protection officers required, ex military/police/defence force who have experience of working in ahazardous environment are preferred. Small arms skills and current first aid certification along with formal qualification in close protection activities. The role involves protection of individualsand groups as well as vital points of infrastructure within the community. The ability to work as a member of a team and on occasion as an individual in a challenging environment while maintaining high levels of communication is paramount.
Role Responsibility:
Due to national social restrictions this role is gender specific. It is in order to support high ranking female personnel during their work in areas where male staff are not allowed due to social restrictions.Please see the generic opportunity also on the G4S Global Career centre for less specific opportunity.
Provide close protection according to standard operating procedures
Follow direction and support the team leaders/vehicle commanders as appropriate
Maintain all personal skills and standards according to role and ensure all equipment and weapons systems are fit for role and use
Actively support the team during operational work and follow guidelines on personal behaviour in and out of role
The Ideal Candidate :
MUST hold UK SIA CP Licence
MUST hold British Nationality (Contract Requirement)
C1 driving ability confirmed and licenced
Ex Military/Police with experience of high risk environment work preferably in Afghanistan/Iraq
First aid, close protection qualified
Some commercial experience in Iraq/Afghanistan
