Close Protection Officer - Executive/Board Member Protection
About Our Client
Our client is an established corporate in Hong Kong is looking for a Close Protection Officer. The role is based in Hong Kong, with occasional overseas travels. Both female and male candidates, who look for a long-term career, are welcomed. Candidates who have just retired but meet the requirements and desire a multi-year job are also welcomed.
Job Description
Provide close protection to the internal clients from any potential risks, including travel security and protection, monitoring of premises, and personal safety. Accompany the individuals in business and social occasions.
Conduct risk assessments and develop security plans to ensure the safety and protection of the internal clients.
Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid and medical assistance if required.
Liaise with law enforcement agencies, security personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient security measures.
Provide security advice to the internal clients and other stakeholders.
Work with the internal security team to maintain accurate and complete records of security operations and incidents.
Maintain a high level of physical fitness and readiness to respond to security threats and emergencies.
The Successful Applicant
Over 15 years of work experience. A minimum of 5 years in close protection bodyguard, personal security or related fields is required. Prior experience in Police Force, Auxiliary Police Force, or other Disciplined Services is highly desired.
A holder of Security Personnel Permit. Professional security and close protection qualification is an added advantage.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Maturity to deal with various stakeholders and situations. A thorough understanding of security risk assessment and management.
A high level of physical fitness and the ability to operate in high-pressure situations.
A valid driving license (Vehicle Classification Codes 1,2) with clean record. A valid first aid and lifesaving qualification is an advantage.
Willingness to work flexible hours and be available to travel at short notice.
A clean criminal record and a high level of integrity, and be able to pass a thorough background due-diligence check
Graduate of secondary school
Good command of Cantonese or Mandarin, and proficiency in spoken English
